Overview

Tuscany needs no introduction. The rolling countryside, the breathtaking views and the winding roads are now famous all over the world and deservedly so. What better way to enjoy this slice of the "dolce vita" than on a bike with the wind flowing through your hair and with every corner hiding an even more beautiful surprise.

Our experience in running and organizing biking and hiking tours have allowed us to create an incredible series of itineraries that show the most beautiful part of the county whilst giving you ample opportunity to enjoy the biking.

Below is a day sample of a full Tuscan Itinerary we created. The most beautiful part of running a trip of this kind in Tuscany is that everything is available from great routes to fantastic food and drink experiences that will make every stop an unforgettable one.

  • Bike/Hike Morning
    Bike and hike eastward through the most famous vineyard area of Montepulciano.
    Bike: 40km
    Hike: 10km

  • Picnic in the vineyards
    Olive oil, pecorino cheese and wine tasting as well as bocce to play.An incredible spot to relax and cool down after a morning ride.

  • Guided Visit of Montepulciano Town
    Montepulciano is a town and commune in the province of Siena. Placed high on top of a hill, Montepulciano is 605 m (around 2000 ft) above sea level.

    Montepulciano is a major producer of food and drink. Its wines (especially the famous Vino Nobile) are drunk throughout the world, and it also sells pork products, cheese, "pici" pasta (a thick, rough, chewy variant on spaghetti) and honey.

    During our visit we will be able to see the historical centre, called the pearl of the Five Hundreds. During the visit we'll stop at one of the oldest wineries situated in the heart of the city for a little impromptu ine tasting.

  • Villa Cicolina
    Villa Cicolina is situated on the hills just outside the ancient town of Montepulciano at the centre of a territory rich in history and varied landscapes. The historical building and breathtaking views over the Tuscan hills help to make your culinary vacation one you'll never forget.

    In the main Villa there are elegant rooms and suites furnished with antique furniture making your stay comfortable and relaxing. Some rooms take their name from the view you can enjoy from the window. Each room is tastefully furnished with antiques collected over the years, comfortable bed, air-conditioning unit, en-suite bathroom.
